Start freeNo card required.

Example: TSLA, AMD, AAPL and MSFT, Oct 8 to 13, imported.

Step 1

Download your activity report from Robinhood.

Robinhood says most reports are ready in about 2 hours, and some take up to 24.

  1. In Robinhood, go to Account, then Reports and statements.
  2. Open Account activity report and tap Generate new report.
  3. Pick the account and the dates you want, then tap Generate report.
  4. When Robinhood tells you it's ready, download the CSV file from Reports.

Step 2

Import the file into your journal.

TraderPier reads Robinhood's columns for you, so there's nothing to set up.

  1. Open the journal and click Import trades.
  2. Pick the Robinhood CSV file and click Preview import.
  3. Check the trades in the preview, then click Import.

What imports

Your transactions become whole trades.

Imported

  • Every stock trade is imported with its date, symbol, side, quantity and price.
  • Buys and sells are joined into whole trades, even when you scale out.

Not imported

  • Deposits, dividends and other money movements aren't imported, because they aren't trades.
  • Times of day aren't imported, because Robinhood's report only lists dates.
Example: META and NVDA, Sep 2 to 29, replayed.

After the import

See each trade on its chart.

Open any trade to play its day back bar by bar. Add your entry and exit times in the trade's Edit view to mark them on the chart.

Then replay the day

Start the day over from your trade.

Once a trade has its times, redo it from just before your entry, or pick up from where you got out and watch what the stock did next.

Example: META, Sep 29, replayed.

Questions

Before you import.

What if my report covers one day?

Pick two or more days. With one day and no times, TraderPier can't tell whether you bought or sold first, and the preview says so.

What if I import the same file twice?

Orders you've already imported are marked in the preview, so you can skip them.

How many trades can I keep?

On the free plan, TraderPier stores up to 10,000 trades and you can replay the ones from the last 30 weekdays. Upgrade to the Trader plan to replay a year of history for $29 a month.

Which markets can I journal?

US stocks and ETFs.

A free journal that replays every trade.

No card required.

Example: META, Sep 29, replayed.
